Here is the suggested itinerary for our reunion. This is not set in stone and we don't have to follow it once we get there. It's more of a guideline, really. But we've found it helpful in the past to have at least a basic plan in place to follow rather than wander around the city aimlessly. :) This itinerary is also subject to change a little bit between now and the reunion. An up to date itinerary will be included in everyone's welcome bags.

Just a friendly reminder that you only have until July 15 to send in your registration fees and reserve your hotel rooms. That's only about ten days away! And I only have one person who has sent in their fee so far.
The registration fee for this year's reunion is $60 USD. If you are paying via Paypal, an extra $2 USD surcharge has been added because Paypal deducts a percentage of the transaction. The fee is important as it covers your welcome bag materials and group dinner along with a few extra goodies. But above all it lets us know that you are definitely coming!
Please have your check in the mail or Paypal your fee by July 15, 2009!

First, I want to apologize for the length it has taken us to decide upon a hotel this year. The World Police and Fire Games happened to be in town the weekend we are planning be there (August 6-9), and this consequently has caused all of our top hotel choices to be booked before we could set aside a block of rooms.
But fortunately, we have found a location that should suit everyone well, the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel in Vancouver. It is situated just ten minutes from most downtown Vancouver attractions and within walking distance of several restaurants. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel and it is just a few minutes via bus or a 20 minute walk to the Main Skytrain Station.

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for all of their input, advice, and suggestions. Also, I want to express to you my gratitude for allowing us the time to compile, research, and deliberate over our next group excursion. When making decisions like this there are a lot of things we must consider for the greater good of everyone's needs and wants. With all that aside..
